Retired U.S. Air Force Veteran. Born and raised in Lake Ronkonkoma, Long Island, New York. Enlisted in the United States Air Force in 1985. During 20+ years serving in the Air Force as a supply chain logistician Ed was stationed at Hanscom AFB Massachusetts, Kunsan AB Korea, Misawa AB Japan, and Elmendorf AFB, Alaska where he retired in 2005. Ed was a two time deployer to Prince Sultan AB Saudi Arabia in support of Operation Southern Watch no fly zone over Iraq.
After retiring from the Air Force, Ed worked alongside with the United States Army Military Police at Ft. Richardson, Alaska as their supply technician for 2 years. He is currently employed with Pratt & Whitney at Elmendorf AFB, Alaska supporting the F22 fighter aircraft.
Ed is married to Ayako, and both support numerous veteran assistance programs. They also enjoy fishing, camping, football, hockey and spending time with their adopted military family and friends. Realizing the sacrifices our military Brothers, Sisters and Families have made in the past and continue to make, has strengthened Ed’s appreciation for all they do to keep us safe.
Retirement never meant cutting ties with the military, it just started another phase of military life for Ed, in a support role for those who have served and are currently serving.
