After retiring from the Air Force, Wag took a job with the Federal Aviation Administration working alongside some of the countries brightest military veterans. After traveling the state of Alaska for 15 years, Wag has an immense knowledge of the state for travel and logistics.

Wag is married to Sonya, also a retired U.S. Air Force Veteran of 20 years. They have been married for 34 years, have two awesome boys, two beautiful daughters-in-law, and two perfect grandchildren. They both support numerous veteran assistance and scholarship programs. They also enjoy fishing & camping (Wag Camp), Florida Gators football, Indiana Hoosiers basketball, and spending time with their extended adopted military family and friends.

Wag says: Never pass up the opportunity to thank a veteran! Old, young, in uniform, out of uniform, on the street, in an airport, in a restaurant, or just passing by … just extend your hand and say: “Thank You For Your Service!” It may start a new friendship! It will brighten the day! It will make you feel good! It will create a smile! It will let them know that you really care!
